We start with a phone, video, or in-person consultation to discuss your idea, placement, size, and expectations. This is a chance for us to understand your vision and make sure we're the right fit. Consultations are always free with no commitment.

Design & Approval
Your custom artwork is created from scratch. I typically spend 7-10 hours on each design, refining every detail. You'll receive up to 2 rounds of revisions to ensure the design feels right. A $200 design fee applies for custom work (no fee for existing designs or Polynesian work).

Booking & Deposit
Once you approve the design, a non-refundable deposit starting from $300 secures your appointment. The deposit goes toward the total cost of your tattoo. Deposits are transferable once with 72 hours' notice.

Preparing for Your Appointment
In the days before your session, get plenty of sleep, eat well, stay hydrated, and avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours. On the day, wear comfortable clothing that gives access to the tattoo area.

Tattoo Day
Arrive 5-10 minutes early. I'll place the stencil so you can see the design in position, and we'll make any final adjustments. Breaks are always available — I work at your pace in a calm, focused environment. No guests permitted during sessions.

Aftercare & Healing
I'll apply Second Skin (transparent protective film) which stays on for 4-5 days. After removal, wash gently and moisturise 3 times daily with unscented lotion. Avoid direct sun, swimming, and heavy exercise for at least 48 hours. Surface healing takes 2-3 weeks; full healing takes 4-6 weeks.

Long-Term Care & Touch-Ups
To keep your tattoo looking its best long-term: moisturise regularly, apply sunscreen when exposed to UV, and avoid prolonged soaking. One complimentary touch-up is included within 3 months if needed. After that, touch-ups are available at a reduced rate.
